Esp8266 serial to telnet
Compile the emulator and all cp/m disks and upload it to the ESP8266. make full. Connect to the emulator and boot into CP/M. Run any serial terminal emulator set to 8N1 at any standard speed between 300 and 115200 baud. To run any full screen CP/M programs you should have VT100/ANSI terminal emulation.
I used the code and tutorial in this video to set up and use a telnet server with the ESP. Then I used puTTY to monitor its serial output wirelessly. I used the same circuit as in the last log, but did not use the temperature sensor because I was in too much of a hurry to add that to the code.Library for Arduino to debug projects over WiFi, with web app or telnet, with print commands like Serial Monitor. ... esp8266, serial bus to mqtt for Paradox alarm systems .Re: WiFI-2-Serial. You can use machine.UART to make a serial connection to the Arduino. Conceptually this is pretty simple, if there's data available send it to the (wifi) socket, and if you have wifi data available, write it to the uart. On the WiFi side it's more complicated. You first need to think about how to connect from your PC to the ...
Connect a 10 KOhm resistor between 3.3V (Vcc) and GPIO0. This sets the ESP8266 into run mode. Now you may connect the GPIO0 directly to ground for flashing. The fourth is the "reset" pin. It should be on "high", so put a 10 KOhm resistor between Vcc and reset pin. For all ESP's besides nodeMCU and WeMOS there is a "CH-PG" pin.
