Re: Ammo recommendation for .357 lever action. My 1894 .357 marlin is very sensitive to ammo- with the right 158gn .357 it will shoot really nice, (3" 100yds) another brand it will print 12" high, with some 125gn loads it is a shotgun. ( 10" pattern at 25 yards.) It may take some experimenting.
